Maj Gen Jerzy Biziewski, 2nd Corps Commander of the Polish land Forces, gives a certificate of appreciation to Tom Lash, a Joint Multinational Simulation Center civilian, at the closing ceremonies of the Bagram XI exercise at Kielce, Poland. Bagram is a biannual exercise that certifies the Polish Land Forces Task Force White Eagle members for their mission in Afghanistan in support of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). U.S . Army Europe and Illinois Army National Guard are supporting Bagram XI with approximately 77 U.S. military and civilian participants working alongside their Polish counterparts in areas like command post management, battlefield and network operations, computer simulations, and key leader engagements.
