PHILIPPINE SEA (June 6, 2019) Quartermaster Seaman Clinton Earl (left), a native of Meza, Airz., and Electronics Technician 3rd Class Daniel Grant (right), a native of Jacksonville, Fla., both assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 2, reload the forward Mark 50 remote weapons system during a live-fire exercise aboard a Mark VI patrol boat during a routine underway. CRS-2, assigned to Coastal Riverine Group 1, Det. Guam, is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations. Further, it provides additional capabilities of port security, embarked security and theater security cooperation around the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations.
