Marines and civilians train in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, grappling and sparring for several hours, every Sunday night. The class united Marines and civilians, building personal relationships. Gunnery Sgt. Mark Stewart, camp commandant with Regimental Combat Team 6 leads the class each week with fellow instructor retired Army Chief Warrant Officer 4 Peter Beckwith, a contractor for RCT-6.
