Captain Dallas King, Echo company commander with 1st Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, greets Lt. Gen. Terry Ferrell, commanding general, U.S. Army Central (USARCENT), June 7, 2019, at an undisclosed location. Ferrell visited the 1st Bn., 44th ADA to observe its capabilities, brief the troops on current threats in their region and address any questions or concerns they may have. Air defense is an element which enables USARCENT to maintain stability in the region.
