Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield is a force protection exercise conducted by Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command and Commander, Navy Installations Command on all Continental U.S. Navy installations. It was developed to enhance the training and readiness of Navy security personnel, and establishes a learning environment for players to exercise functional plans and operational capabilities. Solid Curtain-Citadel Shield is an annual exercise and not a response to any particular threat.
