A U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle, assigned to the 492nd Fighter Squadron at RAF Lakenheath, England, receives fuel from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker off the Southern coast of England, June 6, 2019. The Strike Eagle received fuel before taking part in a flight to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day over France. Highlighting the strength of the U.S. commitment to European security, U.S. Air Force aircraft and other allied forces performed commemorative airborne operations across the European theater in support of the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
