The Union Jack flying from the jackstaff of the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship, USS Wisconsin (BB-64). On June 4, 2019, the US Navy returned to flying the Union Jack on the jackstaff from vessels in port and at anchor; in tandem with NAVADMIN 039/19. June 4th also commemorated the 77th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway, a decisive naval victory in the Pacific which took place from June 3-7, 1942. The Wisconsin is moored permanently next to the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Norfolk as a museum ship, and shares the campus with Nauticus. (US Navy Photo by Max Lonzanida/Released).
