Elements of the scout/sniper platoon from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 160th Infantry, from Inglewood, Calif., and infantrymen from Bravo Company, in Glendale, gather in their barracks at the USMC Mountain Warfare Training Center near Bridgeport, Calif., Feb. 12, 2012, for classes and briefings in preparation for Operation Red Snow. The California Army National Guard troops have been on ground for three days acclimating at the 7000-foot elevation training base.
