190606-N-HG389-0026 GULF OF ADEN (June 6, 2019) – Capt. Paul Lanzilotta, commanding officer of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24), provides instructions during a replenishment-at-sea with the Henry Kaiser-class fleet replenishment oiler, USNS Big Horn (T-AO 198). Arlington is part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and the Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
