A Soldier from the Engineer Company of the Maine Army National Guard cuts a 2x4 during the creation of framing for concrete which will hold up a large flagpole on historic Wood Island in Kittery, Maine June 10, 2019. The Island is currently undergoing many renovations and improvements in order to restore it for the public to enjoy. The Soldiers are partnering with the Town of Kittery, working alongside a charity that is leading the renovation process.
