Quartermaster 3rd Class Albert Francisco uses a sound powered telephone to communicate with other watch standers in the pilot house aboard the U.S 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) as the ship pulls into Manila, Philippines, for a port visit. Blue Ridge and embarked U.S. 7th Fleet staff sailors and Marines will strengthen ties between the two countries through community service events combined military training and cultural exchanges.
