Soldiers of the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division prepare to leave the heat behind at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, as they conduct wash-rack operations, a precursor to sending equipment back to Minnesota. Wash-rack operations begin with cleaning, preparing for and executing of a U.S. Customs Service inspection for all of the Division's equipment. Red Bulls have been utilizing the post's pressure washers to clean vehicles and heavy equipment by removing dirt, sand, chemicals, and other contaminants to prevent corrosion as well as promoting longer equipment lifespan. This comes as the Red Bulls are winding down more than nine-month deployment to the Middle East to provide command and control of U.S. Central Command’s Task Force Spartan.
