U.S. Army Reserve Command Sgt. Maj. John Zimmerman of the 79th Theater Support Command, gives a unit coin to U.S. Army Reserve Staff Sgt. Rey Acevedo of the 519th Transportation Company on June 10, 2019 at Cincu, Romania. Acevedo received the coin for his outstanding work during a three-day convoy in from a port in Greece, passing through Bulgaria and ending up in Romania as part of Operation Saber Guardian 2019. Saber Guardian 2019 is an exercise co-led by Romanian Land Forces and U.S. Army Europe, taking place from June 3-24, to enhance joint and combined interoperability across a variety of mission sets between Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, the U.S. NATO allies and Partnership for Peace Nations.
