190614-N-WI365-1060 CORAL SEA (June 14, 2019) – A CH-53E Super Stallion, attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), prepares to land on the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) during flight operations with the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20). Ashland, part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
