Command Sgt. Maj. Ivy L. Guido sings to the tune of “The Army Goes Rolling Along” during the final moments of the 59th Ordnance Brigade Change of Responsibility Ceremony June 11 at Ball Auditorium. Guido, the incoming brigade CSM, trained as a wheel vehicle mechanic and has logged 27 years in uniform. Over that time, he has amassed five academic degrees – two masters, two bachelors and an associate – as well as a logistics certification. The East St. Louis, Mo., native comes to Fort Lee from Fort Jackson, S.C., where he was a battalion CSM. He replaced CSM Perry Williamson.
