Catherine Berner, commander and sergeant major of the 3rd Personnel Services Command, prepare to case their unit flag in a Casing of the Colors ceremony at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Aug. 29. Flath, of Columbus, Ohio, and Berner, of Forsyth, Ga., cased their colors because the 3rd PERSCOM will soon return to the U.S. after a one-year tour of duty in Kuwait with Third Army (Forward), supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. The colors will remain cased until all their personnel are back home.
