Bulgarian Land Forces Corp. Jordan Tsekov and Pvt. Daniel Yordonov play the role of the opposition force June 17, 2019 on an airfield in Cheshnegirovo, Bulgaria. Opposition forces are designed to provide a combat-like environment for NATO-allied paratroopers from to land in later that night for exercise Swift Response 2019.
Swift Response 2019 is a U.S. Army Europe multinational exercise led by the U.S. Global Response Force to demonstrate the ability to deploy high readiness forces into a designated area, as well as advance airborne interoperability among NATO allies.
