A family house destroyed during the Lower North Fork Fire in Jefferson County, Colo., March 29, 2012. This fire destroyed more than 27 houses and 4,000 acres of land. The 2nd battalion, 135th Aviation Regiment, an Army Aviation partner unit on Buckley Air Force Base, was called to aid the forestry service through the use of UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters, dropping water onto hotspots.
