Pvt. Eric Santos, a wheeled-vehicle mechanic, squeezes himself into a tight spot to check for leaks and malfunctions on a Heavy Equipment Transporter System. The monster truck system can haul heavy equipment such as a Stryker or Abrams tanks. Santos, of Rialto, Calif., is assigned to the 546th Transportation Company deployed to Kuwait as part of the 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), supporting U.S. Third Army (Forward)'s mission in Operation Iraqi Freedom.
