190624-N-DQ787-1160 CORAL SEA (June 24, 2019) CORAL SEA (June 24, 2019) Naval Air Crewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Ty Nichols, from Georgetown, Texas, assigned to the "Island Knights" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, looks out the door of an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter during a fast-rope exercise with Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1). Wasp, flagship of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st MEU, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready response force for any type of contingency.
