Retired Master Sgt. Lisa Goad is over come with joy and giggles as she receives her gold medal in hand cycling during the 2019 DoD Warrior Games. This is Lisa's second Warrior Games and first time ever receiving a gold medal in the hand cycling event. Air Combat Command, General James Homes was on side to present the well deserved medals. Warrior Games is a Paralympic style sporting event with 300 athletes from all DoD service branches and five international coalition partners. Active duty and veteran wounded warriors compete in 13 adaptive sports to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect of those who serve their country
