A B-2 Spirit is on static display during the Wings over Whiteman Air & Space Show 2019, while a B-29 Superfortress flies over the flightline at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, June 16, 2019. Over the course of two days, more than 100,000 visitors attended flying and static displays of aircraft and military equipment including the F-22 Raptor, B-29 and the B-2 stealth bomber. The Superfortress was once operated by the 509th Composite Group during World War II. The unit eventually became the 509th Bomb Wing, which operates all U.S. Air Force B-2 assets.
