NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (June 24, 2019) Yeoman 2nd Class Samaria Yates, from St. Louis, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) navigation department, is presented with a letter of commendation by Cmdr. Jim Howell, Ford's navigation officer, during an awards at quarters ceremony in the ship's pilot house.
