Air Force Maj. Chen Yang, and optometrist and flight commander for the 87th Medical Group, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, provides optometry services for a patient at the Louisville Academy, Louisville, Georgia. The location was on of five clinic sites for the East Central Georgia Innovative Readiness Exercise 2019. The ECG IRT 2019 provided military medical personnel with hands-on experience and readiness training while providing community members in five counties no-cost medical services worth an estimated $1,355,000.
