Handwritten notes cover the blueprints for U.S. Army South’s Military Operations on Urban Terrain construction site at Fort Aguayo, Chile. The $460,000 project will include a 2,800-square meter training facility, complete with eight buildings, sidewalks, walls, and roads. The MOUT site is in direct support of Army South’s efforts to support the Department of State’s Global Peace Operations Initiative, and will assist Chile in developing and enhancing national training capabilities and equipping potential peacekeeping units for deployments under the United Nations.
