Major General Mark Malanka, 40th Infantry Division Commander, leads his last re-enlistment ceremony of 20 Soldiers across the Division during 2019's Annual Training at Camp Roberts Training Base, California, June 26. Malanka plans to retire soon from the California Army National Guard, with 2019 being his last year of AT, and he's expressed numerous times that it's the Soldiers within the 40th Infantry Division that he is most proud of and is thankful to re-enlist/extend Soldiers as one of his parting gifts.
