Weld County Deputy Sheriff Ben Rexroad (right), holds a police dog while his other team mates act out a scenario demonstrating the dog’s ability to assist a deputy sheriff when a perpetrator resists arrest. This was all part of a demonstration for the Jordanian and Saudi Arabian Armed Forces during a State Partnership Program visit at the 233rd Space Group, Greeley, Colo. Representatives from the Colorado National Guard’s State Partnership Program in Jordan as well as across the Ministry of Defense in Saudi Arabia paid a visit to the Colorado Air National Guard to learn about many aspects of the SPP program. While Saudi Arabia is not currently an SPP member, they are considering joining Colorado as a partner due to our existing relationship with Jordan.
