Kay Morrison, 95, signs a print out of her biography June 25, 2019, at Travis Air Force Base, California. Morrison is one of the many women known as ‘Rosie the Riveter’ as she worked as a welder in the Richmond, California, Kaiser Shipyard from 1943 – 1945. During a visit to Travis AFB, she and three other Rosies met with 60th Air Mobility Wing leadership, had lunch with Airmen and shared their experiences. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
