SANTA RITA, Guam (June 25, 2019) - Members of U.S. Naval Base Guam (NBG) and NBG Security Forces participate in a suspicious package/bomb threat training, as part of Citadel Pacific 2019 aboard NBG in Santa Rita June 25. Preparing military and security forces to respond during real-world incidents, the training involved a sweep of the facility using a military service dog, employee evacuation, the location of an improvised explosive device, and further response necessities. Citadel Pacific, an anti-terrorism force protection exercise, is designed to enhance the training, readiness, and capability of Navy security forces to effectively respond to threats to installations, commands, and units.
