Cpl. Aaron Snively, a dog handler with 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, works with his retriever as part of the Improvised Detection Dog Program at Forward Operating Base Geronimo, March 24. Since arriving in December, the dog handlers and the canines with 2nd Bn., 6th Marines have saved multiple lives through the detection of improvised explosive devices in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
