Ford's (CVN 78) ship's nurse, receives a surface warfare medical department officer certificate from Capt. Timothy L. Waits, Ford's executive officer, during a pinning ceremony. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
