The DRD, or the Kraken, is the Navy’s newest one-of-a kind aerospace medicine research device. Using the applied research program centered on the Kraken Dr. Williams is studying pilot spatial disorientation to find solutions to protect and enhance the health, readiness and performance of aircrew.
