Australian Lt. Gen. Talisman Sabre is an annual exercise in its 18th iteration since 2001, developing Australian and United States interoperability at the campaign, operational and tactical levels while strengthening security for a free and open Indo-Pacific. The exercise will include over 34,000 personnel operating from the air, land and sea from July 11th through July 24th. “This exercise is a monumental undertaking, reflecting the strength of the United States and Australian alliance, and the closeness of our military to military partnerships,” Bilton said.
