The 14th Sgt. Maj. of the Army, Ray Chandler, pins the Combat Infantryman Badge on Pfc. Luis Uribarri at Combat Outpost Bari Alai, Afghanistan, April 3. Seven other members of 3rd Platoon, Company A, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division received combat badges from the sergeant major of the Army for their successful suppression of an insurgent attack on their outpost just days after arriving in Afghanistan.
