BLACK SEA (July 9, 2019) - Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Timothy Mallon, from Philadelphia, uses the radio aboard a rigid-hull inflatable boat to communicate with the bridge aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) during a visit, board, search and seizure drill as part of exercise Sea Breeze, July 9, 2019. Sea Breeze is an annual Ukraine and U.S. co-hosted multinational maritime exercise held in the Black Sea and is designed to enhance interoperability of participating nations to strengthen maritime security and stability within the region.
