Avant, OK, USA--July 10--Tiny Avant, Oklahoma (population approx. 320) received a mobile Disaster Recovery Center from FEMA. Residents were able to apply for help after the May/June torrential rain and wind storms. The mobile unit set up on Main Street in front of City Hall and the police station.
