NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (July 10, 2019) Chief Warrant Officer Ceoric Liggins, from Paris, Texas, USS Gerald R. Ford’s (CVN 78) air bos’n, performs secondary checks on the proximity suit of Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 3rd Class Hansel Andres Soto’s, from Fontana, California, assigned to Ford’s air department, prior to a crash and salvage drill on the ship’s flight deck during a fast cruise. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
