Linda Craven, from Van Meter, Iowa, the commander of the 334th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, Iowa Army National Guard (IANG) based at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center (CDJMTC) in Johnston, Iowa, and battalion sergeant major, Command Sgt. Maj. Kent Brix, from Grand Mound, Iowa, present a certificate of appreciation to Chad Scwartz, with United Farmers Cooperative, located in Winthrop, Minn. and his son, Carl, for allowing the IANG to use their facility as a refueling point on July 13, 2019. Approximately 3,000 Iowa and Minnesota National Guard Soldiers traveled to Camp Ripley to participate in an eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) exercise designed to train brigade combat teams down to the platoon level.
