Members of the Department of Defense's Executive Leadership Development Program visited the Texas Military Department as a part of their tour around the globe to learn about the different facets of the DoD April 18 at Camp Swift near Bastrop, Texas. The week-long visit highlights Texas as one of the 54 states and territories with a National Guard and showcases capabilities that most did not know existed. The Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force hosted the group during their 8th trip to Texas informing them of Counterdrug's 30-year history supporting law enforcement and community-based organizations in the fight against drug manufacturing and trafficking.
