Marines of 2nd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment conduct a facing movement in order to emplace helmets as part of military battle crosses during the battalion's memorial ceremony here, April 12.The memorials are symbolic representations honoring the five fallen Marines who made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and security of the Afghan people throughout 2/4's recent deployment. The battalion deployed to Helmand province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and returned home last month.
