190715-N-WK982-6619 CORAL SEA (July 15, 2019) The crew of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Chancellorsville (CG 62) transports cargo across the flight deck during a vertical replenishment-at-sea with the dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Matthew Perry (T-AKE 9). Chancellorsville, part of Carrier Strike Group 5, is currently participating in Talisman Sabre 2019 off the coast of Northern Australia. A bilateral, biennial event Talisman Sabre is designed to improve U.S. and Australian combat training, readiness and interoperability through realistic, relevant training necessary to maintain regional security, peace and stability.
