High school students with the Devil Pups Youth Program for America listen as U.S. Marine Cpl. Natasha Ajin, an instructor with the Devil Pups program, teaches them how to about face at the 22 Area parade deck on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, July 17, 2019. The Devil Pup program is a 10-day program that offers students a variety of outdoor physical activities, classroom lectures and demonstrates Marine Corps operations. The program also gives noncommissioned officers the chance to volunteer their time and work with fellow NCOs from across the base to teach students Marine Corps values and leadership traits, and send the students back to their communities as “difference makers.” More than 53,000 students have graduated from the Devil Pup program since it was established in 1954.
