Lieutenant Col. James Raines, Cartersville, Georgia native, commander, 2nd Battalion, 18th Field Artillery Regiment (rotational), 210th Field Artillery Brigade, gives remarks during the transfer of authority ceremony between 3-13 FAR and 2-18 FAR, July 19, 2019, Camp Casey, Republic of Korea. Raines and his battalion leadership trained their organization for more than a year before arriving to Camp Casey in order to ensure a flawless transition occurred. The 2-18 FAR is a multiple launch rocket system battalion assigned to 75th Field Artillery Brigade out of Fort Sill, Oklahoma and assumed its role as the rotational MLRS battalion after a seamless relief in place process with 3-13 FAR.
