BARRIGADA, Guam (July 10, 2019) Builder 2nd Class John Paul, a native of Anchorage, Alaska, assigned to Navy Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 133, left, and Personnel Specialist 1st Class Shay Boyles, a native of Williamsport, Va., assigned to 30th Naval Construction Regiment (NCR) assists their sister city of Barrigada, with its 75th Liberation Day parade float. 30 NCR and Barrigada work together on projects benefiting the residents of Barrigada and the Seabees assigned to 30 NCR through the sister village program. The 75th anniversary of Guam’s liberation from Japanese occupation by United States forces during World War II is July 21.
