    190712-N-DS741-1101 ARABIAN SEA (July 12, 2019) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Jonathan Cox, from Tulsa, Oklahoma, assigned to the deck division aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55), stands watch as the landing signalman enlisted during a vertical replenishment with the fast combat support ship USNS Arctic (T-AOE 8) and an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter from the “Nightdippers” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 5. Leyte Gulf is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet areas of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
