    II Marine Expeditionary Force   

    Scranton, Pa., native Cpl. Steven Weitz (front) is a mortar section leader with Company F, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division. The 21-year-old and 2008 graduate of Old Forge Junior/Senior High School was in charge of three mortar systems during a company-size exercise focusing on platoon-size supported attacks in order to refine the company with the proper tactics, techniques, and procedures with automatic weapons at the platoon and company level.
