A U.S. Marine with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion (2d LAR) begins a 10k hike during the battalion’s annual Isaak Competition at Camp Geiger, North Carolina, July 22, 2019. In honor of Cpl. Garreth Isaak, 2d LAR conducted the competition to further develop the unit’s combat fitness, proficiency and readiness and also to recognize the most proficient scout within the battalion.
