Marines with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and Australian Soldiers offload an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, aboard the landing helicopter dock HMAS Canberra (LO 2), Coral Sea, July 23, 2019. The 31st MEU and USS Wasp (LHD 1) Amphibious Ready Group are currently participating in Exercise Talisman Sabre 2019 off the coast of Northern Australia. Talisman Sabre is designed to improve partner nation combat readiness and interoperability through realistic, relevant training, enhancing the ability and proficiency to respond to crisis as part of a combined effort while maintaining regional security, peace and stability.
