A reconnaissance team with the 1st Battalion, 194th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 34th Infantry Division, Iowa Army National Guard mark a landing zone for a CH-47 Chinook during sling-load operations for an artillery assault at Camp Ripley, Minn., on July 21, 2019. The exercise was part of the eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC). During XCTC, components of the 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, including infantry, cavalry, field artillery, will train in dynamic and challenging scenarios, both day and night operations, in maneuvers and live-fire exercises specific to the combat and domestic taskings of each unit.
