Col. Curtis Buzzard, Commandant of Cadets, and his wife Teri hosted five new cadets during New Cadet Visitation Day. All five new cadets had a parent who graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1992 along with Buzzard. During the visit, Buzzard pulled out his Howitzer to show the new cadets their parent's photos. New Cadets in the Class of 2023 are hosted for an afternoon by members of the West Point community during New Cadet Visitation Day and given the chance to call family and friends, check email and see what they have missed outside the gates of West Point since Reception Day.
